NEAR EDINBURG - A community near Edinburg is still looking for answers after they say their street lights haven't worked for years.

According to residents, street lights were put in about three years ago to fix the problem.

Since it initially went out almost three years ago it hasn't been fixed.

Angel Moyeda feels because of where he lives his community is being overlooked

He says break-ins are becoming a problem and blames the lack of light.

"We live in a corner which kind of just makes us that much more susceptible to people being able to people being able to look into our property both the front and back, and the sides," says Moyeda.

Moyeda wants the street lights the county put up to actually do what they're supposed to.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS reached out to the county office; they told us they are looking into the issue.
