MCALLEN - Downtown bar owner says some bars were targeted by a counterfeiter.

The owners of Avenue 1704 says someone used three fake $20 bills at the bar Friday.

Owners say the person purchased a drink with the fake bills, and received change in return.

They reported the case to the McAllen Police Department.
