With rapper "Pitbull" scheduled to perform at the Bert Ogden Arena on Thursday, Aug. 5, officials with the arena announced several Covid-related safety precautions that will be taken to keep concertgoers safe.

According to Bert Ogden Arena Marketing Director Shalimar Madrigal, masks will still be required upon entry into the arena.

Once you’re sitting down and you want to eat or drink you can certainly take off your mask,” Madrigal said. “But we're asking that everyone keep their masks up, maintain social distancing.”

The arena will also use sanitation crews to offer disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer to those who need it. Those teams will also use hospital-grade disinfectant during the concert to sanitize high-traffic areas.
