Crash in Starr Co. Leads to 1 Drug Arrest
RIO GRANDE CITY – A driver accused of carrying drugs in plain sight is now in custody of Border Patrol.
Police responded to a crash Monday at the intersection of Highway 83 and Pet Diaz Avenue in Rio Grande City around 5 p.m.
The man behind the wheel of the pick-up truck struck another vehicle, sending the driver to the hospital.
Officers later found bundles of marijuana inside the pick-up truck.
