Deadline for Non-Profits to Apply for USCIS Grant Approaching

WESLACO – The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has opened the application process for their citizenship and assimilation grants.

Non-profit organizations are now eligible for federal funds to help people with green cards prepare for citizenship.

The program started back in 2009 and has awarded $73 million.

The deadline to apply for the Citizenship Instruction and Naturalization Application is Aug. 8 and Aug. 15 for the Refugee and Asylee Assimilation.
