NEAR LINN-SAN MANUEL – Three students are recovering after being rushed to the hospital during a school field trip at Sal Del Rey.

A local doctor says children are the most susceptible to heat-related injuries.

However, she says teenagers and adults should also take precaution to avoid falling victims to the rising temperatures.
