BROWNSVILLE - Flooding continues to affect Brownsville residents.

Residents in the area are helping others who were stalled in flooded waters.

The Brownsville Fire Department chief says several areas of downtown Brownsville, including Boca Chica Blvd. and the intersection of Adams and 7th Street are still suffering.

The chief is asking drivers to stay off the roads at this time.
