DPS: Weslaco Man Dies at Scene of Crash in Brooks Co.
WESLACO – The Department of Public Safety is investigating a deadly crash that claimed the life of a Weslaco man in Brooks County.
It happened on US 281 south of FM 755 early Wednesday morning.
Investigators say the driver of a black Ford F-350 lost control of the vehicle, drifted off the road into a ditch and rolled over.
Alvaro Loa, of Weslaco, was ejected from the vehicle.
The 22-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
