Edinburg Steps In to Assist Neighborhood with Dust Problem
EDINBURG – The city of Edinburg is stepping in to help people in a neighborhood affected by dust from industrial areas.
The consistent problem was dust blowing into the neighborhood.
The city stepped in to identify where exactly the dust was coming from. Then two businesses received nuisance notices.
One, a construction company agreed to water the lots they’re now building. The second a concrete company that received the notice, but did not respond in time.
The city and the concrete company will not take up the issue in municipal court.
