RIO GRANDE CITY – A federal judge is determining the future of electioneering is Starr County.
Monday’s hearing focused on two policies, the resolution prohibiting electioneering and Starr County’s use of public property, regulating electioneering.
The judge is considering whether the policy is neutral. He questioned whether the policy could restrict free speech on the county courthouse sidewalks.
