A fifth person arrested in an Edinburg voter fraud investigation is now officially charged.

33-year-old Francisco Tamez Jr. is charged with two counts of illegal voting.

Bond was set at $100,000.

The Texas Attorney General has confirmed Texas Rangers are handling the case focusing on the city elections held in Edinburg last year.
