First Responders Stress the Importance of Learning CPR
BROWNSVILLE- A Texas Game Warden is being hailed a hero for his quick actions to save a little girl.
Shane Horrocks was on patrol near Palm Valley on Wednesday.
He was flagged down by a frantic mother, whose one-month-old daughter was choking.
While in contact with EMS, Horrocks drove 8 miles down the road and found the limp child with her father.
He revived her by performing CPR.
Incidents like these have first responders stressing residents also learn the life-saving technique.
