HARLINGEN – Authorities were at the scene of a bus crash in Harlingen at 3rd and Harrison.

The area was blocked off as they investigated the crash. It has since been cleared and it opened to traffic.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS is told at least six people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The bus and a car collided. The person in the car had minor injuries and was transported to the hospital as well.

Harlingen Police Office Larry Moore said they are still investigating who was at fault.

“At this time, the officers are still investigating the crash to determine fault. Once they’ve completed that, I’m sure the citation will be issued to whoever was at fault,” he said.

The bus passengers were picked up by another bus. The car involved in the crash was towed away.
