HARLINGEN – One person is recovering after an overnight shooting in Harlingen.

Harlingen police responded Tuesday night to the 600 block of North B St. after receiving reports of gunshots.

When they arrived, officers say they found a victim outside the home with a gunshot wound.

Police say the suspect barricaded himself inside with a second victim.  

After several attempts to make contact with the suspect, a SWAT team made entry into the house and found the suspect and victim dead.

The first victim is in critical but stable condition.

No other suspects are being sought at this time.
