NEAR MISSION – The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an auto-pedestrian accident that sent one man to the hospital.

It happened at around 9 p.m. Monday at a drive thru store near 5 Mile Line and Brushline near Mission.

Hidalgo County investigators said a vehicle drove around the back of the store and ran over a man lying on the ground.

The driver stopped to help the man.
