Hidalgo County surpasses testing 3,000 people, announces 7 more virus cases
EDINBURG – Seven more Hidalgo County residents tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a release sent Tuesday.
The new patients involved are identified as three Edinburg residents, two McAllen residents and two Weslaco residents, officials say.
Officials also mentioned a total of 3,196 people have been tested for the virus; 275 have tested positive, 8.6% of the total tested.
Three deaths linked to the virus have been reported and 79 patients have been cleared and released from isolation, according to the release.
