Homeowner Waiting on Contractor to Complete Repairs Months Later
WESLACO – A Weslaco woman says she’s been waiting for repairs on her home to be completed.
Maria Herrera says she hired ACE Home Repair to fix her house, which sustained water damage during the June floods.
Four months and $26,000 later, she says the work has come to a stop.
Herrera says she was forced to rent another home to live in but can’t afford to pay for both properties for much longer.
KRGV’s John Paul Barajas was able to speak with the contractor, George Hernandez.
He informed Herrera he’ll work on her home this weekend and have the job done by early next week.
