Honduran Woman Gives Birth to Stillborn Baby while in CBP Custody
MCALLEN – A pregnant woman was apprehended by Border Patrol agents in McAllen; she gave birth to a stillborn baby later that day.
According to the press release, the woman was medically screened at the McAllen Central Processing Center and determined to need medical attention.
She was transported to a local hospital where staff was unable to detect a heartbeat.
She delivered the stillborn baby shortly after.
