ICE Deports Gang Member Wanted for Crimes in El Salvador

A fugitive MS-13 gang member was deported back to his home country in El Salvador.

According to ICE, Santos Mauricio Urquilla Rodriguez was deported Thursday.

The 25-year-old was wanted in El Salvador for aggravated homicide.

Salvadoran authorities say he is also a member of a terrorist organization.

Urquilla Rodriguez was caught entering the country illegally near Hidalgo back in January.
