Landowners Meet with Border Patrol to Discuss Security Projects
MCALLEN – Some Rio Grande Valley landowners who live at the border met with Border Patrol Wednesday to discuss recent security projects.
The invitation-only meeting was held at the Border Patrol station in McAllen.
Several property owners whose land is in the path of future border wall constructions were present. They did not want to speak to us for an on-camera interview.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS asked the agency for more information about the discussions.
We're told "border security efforts" were discussed but we have yet to hear back with any additional details.
