WESLACO – Tuesday is the last day to cast votes early in several Rio Grande Valley runoff elections.

None of the candidates for Commissioner Place 1 or Place 3 in Mercedes were able to get the votes needed to avoid a runoff.

Leo Villarreal and Leonel Benavides will face off for Commissioner Place 1.

Armando Lopez and Cris De Leon-Hernandez will go head to head for Commissioner Place 3.

And in San Juan, Rubio Muniz and Neto Guajardo are vying for the Commissioner Place 2 seat.

Early voting ends at 7:00 p.m.

Runoff elections will take place Saturday.
