WESLACO – Thursday is the last day to register to vote for next month’s election.

People can head to their county elections office by the end of the work day to get their application in.

If people can’t make it they can still mail in the voter registration. It must be postmarked with Thursday’s date.

Citizens can take a look at a sample ballot by heading to their county elections' website.

Early voting begins in three weeks on April 24. Election Day is May 6.
