HARGILL– One man is recovering from a gunshot wound from an overnight shooting in Hargill.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Harding Street before 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

A 31-year-old was shot in the forearm. Deputies arrested one suspect, but that person has not been officially charged.

The sheriff’s office calls this an ongoing aggravated assault investigation.
