RAYMONDVILLE – A Lyford man is in custody in connection with a hit-and-run crash that happened in Raymondville earlier this month.

Alfredo Garcia is charged with accident involving serious bodily injury; a third-degree felony. 

Police said the 55-year-old was driving a Ford Explorer and hauling a boat in Raymondville when he hit a man riding a bike.

It happened in the early morning hours of Nov. 18.

The victim remains in critical, but stable condition.
