Man Concerned over Leakage Contaminating His Yard
SAN BENITO – A San Benito man says a leak at a nearby business is draining directly to his home.
Dan Simmons’ property sits directly behind a Stripes convenience store.
He says he’s been dealing with the issue for years. He believes the leak is hazardous and coming from the soda machines inside.
“They haven’t fixed it in five years now or 10,” Simmon says. “I kept trusting them. They said, ‘We’ll do it. We’ll do it.’”
KRGV’s Angelo Vargas reached out to the store managers and regional owners. The managers told us in an off-camera interview that they will work on plugging up the leak.
