NEAR LOS FRESNOS – Authorities are looking for a man in connection to a crash earlier this month near Los Fresnos.

The suspect, Tommy Hernandez, was driving on FM 803 near Iowa Gardens on Feb. 6 when he collided with a Hyundai Accent.

Eight-year-old Steven Pena suffered life-threatening injuries. He is listed in critical condition and will likely never walk again.

Police said Hernandez fled on foot.
