Many Residents Question Air Force One Used in Trump's Visit to RGV

WESLACO – The presidential visit sparked many questions for residents in the Rio Grande Valley.

One of the most common questions regarded the plane President Trump traveled in.

Many viewers contacted CHANNEL 5 NEWS asking whether this was Air Force One or Air Force Two.

We did some research and found the plane that flew in Thursday was Air Force One, though it wasn’t the same plane we usually see the president fly in.  

According to the White House website, the term Air Force One is used to describe any aircraft carrying the president.
