McAllen Drivers to Benefit from Traffic Light Project
MCALLEN – City workers began a new project Wednesday to benefit drivers in McAllen.
Crews began installing new traffic signal cabinets to the traffic lights around the city.
A total of 98 cabinets are being connected to a city-wide grid to allow traffic staff to synchronize the lights with others to keep flow of traffic smooth.
The project is covered by a $1.2 million bond approved by voters this year.
