McAllen Man Charged with Aggravated Assault to an Officer, Evading Arrest
MCALLEN – A McAllen man is charged with assaulting a police officer.
Francisco Javier Rocha Jr. is charged with aggravated assault to a public servant and evading arrest.
The charges stem from two incidents from earlier this year.
An indictment shows, in July, Rocha hit a Mission police officer’s cruiser with his own vehicle.
Four months prior, Rocha allegedly fled from a McAllen police officer trying to arrest him.
