MCALLEN – McAllen police are investigating the death of a woman found Tuesday morning.

A passerby discovered the woman’s body lying in the street on the 600 block of West Beech Avenue at around 5:30 a.m.

Investigators said an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
