MERCEDES – The problem started about two years ago.

The bees made their way into Pedro De Anda’s home and the sheet rock in his laundry room began to drip honey.

“We put a bucket but we're scared that the sheet rock will puncture and that all the bees will enter my home. But thank God that hasn't happened,” said De Anda.

CHANNEL 5 NEWS reached out to a local pest control company; the owner of the company says the situation is worse than he thought.

John Echavarria, owner of Goliath Pest Control, says De Anda is dealing with honey bees in the midst of swarming season.
