Mexican National Charged with Bigamy
MCALLEN – A McAllen man accused of having more than one wife is in immigration custody this afternoon.
Oscar Raymundo Correa-Gonzalez, 37, was charged with bigamy. He was arrested during a traffic stop Tuesday night.
Edinburg Police Sgt. Oscar Trevino said the case started in 2012. A woman filed a police report against Correa-Gonzalez on suspicion of bigamy.
Investigators later found he was married to three different women.
Correa-Gonzalez was turned over to ICE after authorities found he was in the country illegally.
