More Troops Arrive at Edinburg Airport
EDINBURG – More military troops have arrived in the Rio Grande Valley.
KRGV’s John Paul Barajas reports from the South Texas International Airport in Edinburg where seven black hawks are still stationed.
Troops gathered for, what seems to be, a briefing and unloaded duffel bags.
We reached out to the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense to find out if this will be another staging area similar to the one near the Donna International Bridge. We have yet to receive a response.
