Morris Leads Vipers To Kids Day Win

HIDALGO – The Valley’s pro basketball team got an early start Tuesday in a morning “kids day” win over Westchester 126-109. Thousands of local students looked on as former NBA player Darius Morris led the Vipers with 25 points and 12 assists. Rockets assignees Kyle Wiltjer and Chinanu Onuaku helped the winning cause with 22 points and 16 points respectively. The Vipers (10-4) begin a five-game road trip Friday in Salt Lake City.
