New Amendment Allows Posting Campaign Signs after Candidate Filing
RAYMONDVILLE – Candidates running for office in Raymondville will have more time to post campaign signs.
Raymondville mayor Gilbert Gonzalez told CHANNEL 5 NEWS the city has amended an ordinance on when campaign signs can be put up.
He said a candidate can now start posting signs as soon as they file to run for office in the city.
Prior to the amendment, a candidate could only post their campaign sings 60 days before the date of an election.
