BROWNSVILLE – Tuesday night’s featured volleyball match had the CHANNEL 5 camera rolling at Lopez High School where Brownsville Veterans entered the night with a 3-0 record in district play.

The Lady Chargers took control early, using strong play to sweep the Lobos.

After the match, Brownsville Veterans senior outside hitter Cynthia Garcia told CHANNEL 5, “"Even though we didn't play that good today it still feels good having another district win. We're still working towards that district title and playoffs of course. We're really just trying to have a quick offense and make sure that are defense is ready. It's really just a collaborative effort."
