WESLACO - Friday was a pivotal night for softball teams playing in the opening round of the UIL softball playoffs.  For some teams, it was the first chance at playoff softball.  For others, it was an opportunity to wrap up a bi-district round victory.  CHANNEL 5's Joel Villanueva has the highlights in tonight's "On the Diamond" report.
