Parent Charged After Pepper Spraying Incident
MCALLEN--A parent is charged after an incident at McAllen ISD's Instruction and Guidance Center.
McAllen ISD spokesperson Mark May said the parent allegedly pepper sprayed a school counselor. May said the parent is charged with aggravated assault of a public servant.
The counselor received medical attention and will return to work Monday.
