WESLACO – Tire shops warn the Rio Grande Valley’s extreme heat can impact your safety.

Drivers are being asked to check their tire pressure at least once a month to prevent blowouts.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says if you experience a blown tire or see a tire hazard that could cause an accident, call the police to report it.
