Public Meeting to Plan for South Padre Island Drainage Improvements
SOUTH PADRE ISLAND – City leaders at South Padre Island want input from residents and visitors about reducing the risk of flooding.
Officials say they want as much information possible in planning their drainage system for the next several decades.
According to public works director, Alex Sanchez, drainage improvements for South Padre Island are overdue.
The last time any drainage study was conducted was in 1983.
