Ramp Ready in Raymondville for Governor’s Visit
RAYMONDVILLE – A Willacy County museum spokesperson told CHANNEL 5 NEWS a ramp has been varnished and is ready for Gov. Greg Abbott's visit on Friday.
The ramp will allow the governor to get on stage for a speech at the museum.
The stage had only wooden stairs on either side of it.
The ramp was built by volunteers and members of the American Legion in Raymondville.
Abbott has been in a wheelchair since 1984.
