Raymondville Residents Waiting for Detention Center to Re-Open
RAYMONDVILLE – Raymondville residents are wondering when a local detention center will house inmates again.
The Willacy County Detention Center hasn’t housed inmates since February of 2015.
Over 400 jobs were lost after the center closed due to a riot.
The Director of Communications for Management and Training Corporation says they’re waiting on a signature.
