Rebuilding Continues for Weslaco Man Six-Months After June Floods
WESLACO - Heavy rains caused devastating floods in June.
Six months later, in December, Noe Mendoza says the cleanup process is going slowly.
The Weslaco resident watched as his neighborhood was taken over by floodwaters.
Mendoza didn't lost only his home, but his business.
He says, "We had to cancel it because of the flood that destroyed our gym and most of our equipment"
There is still help available for flood victims. Small business and non-profit organizations can apply for an S.B.A. economic injury load. The deadline is April 8th.
