Red Cross Assistance Centers to be Open at 3 Valley Locations
HARLINGEN – The American Red Cross will have assistance centers open over the weekend for people impacted by the recent flooding.
Red Cross members will be helping to provide support and resources for residents whose homes were damaged.
The community disaster centers will be open at the following locations:
- Saturday, July 6 at Harlingen Public Library on 410 76 Drive in Harlingen from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; lunch will be available at 12 p.m.
- Sunday, July 7 at Maria Luisa Guerra Technology Building on 116 Santa Vista Avenue in Santa Rosa from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Monday, July 8 at Mercedes Civic Center on 520 East Second Street in Mercedes from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Volunteers will be at the locations to help distribute cleanup kits, snacks and offer one-on-one case work services.
