Remains of Brownsville Native Killed During Korean War to be Buried
BROWNSVILLE – The remains of a Brownsville serviceman taken prisoner of war will be returned to his family.
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced the remains of Army Pfc. Felipe A. Champion of Brownsville will be buried in his hometown June 21.
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced today that the remains of a U.S. serviceman, accounted for from the Korean War are being returned to his family for burial with full military honors.

He was 19 years old when he was reported missing in action in February 1951.
