Reports of inventory errors impacting local COVID-19 vaccine supply

Frustration grows among health officials, as reports of inventory errors impact the Valley's COVID-19 vaccine supply. 

In December the Texas Department of State Health Services released three lists of COVID-19 vaccine allocations. The lists show the clinics, pharmacies and hospitals across the Valley that have received the doses. 

Cameron County Health Administrator Esmeralda Guajardo said there are issues with the data on those lists.

"One of the issues that we are experiencing is that, the list that the state puts out is sometimes not as accurate as to what's really going on in our community," Guajardo said.
