WESLACO – Homeowners affected by the floods are still looking for help.

We spoke with residents who say they’ve been asking for help for a week.

The Hidalgo County commissioner for Precinct 1, David Fuentes, spoke out about the flooding impact.

“I can assure you that myself and my staff we've been working around the clock since rain events started last Wednesday," he says.

KRGV’s John Paul Barajas spoke with Fuentes about the plans to restore these neighborhoods.
