Residents Voice Concerns about Drainage at Weslaco Meeting
WESLACO – A meeting took place at Weslaco City Hall on Wednesday to address drainage and flooding issues.
Residents filled the building to voice their concerns.
Some residents said they’d rather move than to face flooding again.
They want to know what measures are going to be taken to prevent this from happening again.
Weslaco Mayor David Suarez says drainage is now their top priority and adds they plan to assess the current drainage structure.
KRGV’s Sierra Pizarro was present at the meeting and has more on the topics covered.
