Roma City Leaders Meeting to Discuss Land Annexation
ROMA – Roma city leaders announced they are meeting for a possible land annexation.
More than 1,000 residents could become part of Roma.
City manager, Crisanto Salinas, said the land needs to be annexed to have economic growth. They’re expecting to collect close to $55,000 in new tax revenue.
Residents said they do not want to be part of the city.
City council will be voting today. The meeting will be held at city hall and set to start at 5 p.m.
