Elias Sandoval with Easy Solutions Credit Repair told us staying debt free this holiday season is all about maintaining a budget.

Time is also important, according to Sandoval. He said setting aside several times to shop will help you avoid impulse buys.

If you have to use a credit card to make a purchase, Sandoval said to use one that has money back rebates or with no interest for the first 18 months.
